Body Composition Testing
Turn Information Into Inspiration
Body Composition Testing
Vancouver Island Body Audit is based on the Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island.
We provide body composition testing services to individuals, private companies, and gyms.
We take a deeper look into your body, which encourages more focused nutrition plans and exercise programming, which, in turn, will help you meet your health and fitness goals faster.
The Evolt 360 Body Composition Scanner
The Evolt 360 is the ultimate tracking tool to help you with your body composition goals. It provides you with baseline measurements that you can then use to help focus your nutrition and exercise. Some of the many measurements that you get with the Evolt 360 are:
- Muscle Mass,
- Body Fat Percentage,
- Visceral Fat Level,
- Bio Age (how old your body acts),
- Basal Metabolic Rate, and
- Calorie and Macronutrient recommendations.
Robyne Lumley started Vancouver Island Body Audit in 2021.
Robyne believes the current form of measuring fitness and health goals based on pictures, measurements, and weight, is not complete enough. A Body Composition Test takes a deeper look, beyond the physical, and gives clients the tools they need to make the most important and impactful changes.
Robyne has a background in personal training and nutrition and loves all things outdoors.
Getting a scan
It only takes 10-15 minutes to have a scan completed. It is a quick, non-invasive measure that requires you to stand on the device, after removing shoes and socks, grab onto the handles and wait for 60 seconds. The report will then be uploaded to your profile on your app and/or you can receive a printed copy to take with you right away.
For $45 (incl. tax) you can see how effective your training is towards meeting your fitness and health goals by monitoring your results every 6-8 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Evolt 360 Scanner?
The Evolt 360 is an FDA approved non-invasive body composition analyser that uses a frequency to read internal human tissue. This means that you can get a baseline measure of over 30 data points about your body.
How does the Evolt 360 Scanner work?
The Evolt 360 Scanner uses BIA Technology to send a small current through the body to measure impedance and reactance.
What is BIA Technology?
The Evolt scanner uses Bio Impedance Technology. Bioimpedance uses impedance and reactance to differentiate tissue. It can reliably differentiate between lean body mass and body fat via the impedance reading (muscle has less resistance than fat).
The 8 silver tactile points on the scanner send current through the 5 segments of the body to provide a more reliable measure of body composition as opposed to a standard foot scale.
Bioimpedance is used extensively in medicine and in research. It is a safe, quick, reliable, and repeatable form of body composition testing.
